Program Description

The Master of Arts in Translation and Conference Interpreting is designed to provide students with advanced academic and professional training in multilingual communication, translation, and interpreting. The program aims to develop highly qualified language professionals capable of operating in international, institutional, and specialized professional contexts. Students engage in a comprehensive curriculum that combines theoretical foundations with intensive practical training. The program focuses on key areas such as specialized translation (legal, economic, and technical), conference interpreting (simultaneous and consecutive), intercultural communication, and terminology management. Emphasis is placed on developing precision, fluency, and subject-matter expertise, alongside the ability to work effectively in multilingual and multicultural environments. Through guided practice, workshops, and applied coursework, students acquire the skills necessary to manage complex translation and interpreting tasks, use industry-standard tools and technologies, and adapt to the evolving demands of global communication. The program also includes practical components and project-based work, allowing students to apply their knowledge in real-world or simulated professional settings.
