Course Overview

In today’s globalized society, the disciplines that shape and govern it must evolve to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world.  Criminological sciences, in particular, have expanded their technological and investigative dimensions in response to globalization, which has led to the broadening of criminal networks across borders. As a result, advancements in investigation techniques and crime prevention strategies have become essential in addressing modern security challenges.

The Criminology and Cybersecurity program at Unicollege offers a unique psychological and social perspective within the realm of investigative culture. This distinctive approach makes the course academically innovative and highly competitive, equipping students with the necessary expertise to navigate the complexities of criminal justice and digital security. The core objective of this program is to provide in-depth knowledge in criminology and cybersecurity, preparing students to become professionals capable of facilitating clear and effective communication among individuals of different nationalities involved in criminal processes.

As a graduate, your professional role will place you at the forefront of investigative and judicial processes, as well as in reception centers and institutions where foreign individuals are involved. Your expertise will serve as a crucial resource for lawyers, judges, investigators, sociologists, and psychologists, providing them with key insights to fully understand each case, assess situations accurately, and propose the most effective solutions.

Prof. Eleonora di Molfetta

“Did you know that Italy was the first country in the world to abolish the death penalty? Moreover, Italy hosted the world’s very first international conference on criminology in Rome in 1928. If you’re considering a career in criminology, Italy is truly the cradle of this discipline.”
